This actually smells like dry Riesling, except I have never smelled a dry Riesling that echoed seashells and salt air so clearly as does this wine. Ample fruit, as well as chalk, salt, stone and mineral dust flow across the palate in a package that is so much more than a simple Muscadet. This is nearly everything a wine should be. If you place a glass of this wine near your ear you can hear the ocean lapping against a sandy beach.
