Forgot I had already opened a bottle of this and opened another a couple weeks ago. Noted as nearly opaque this time and still dark purple (with a redviolet rim.) Black currant and violets on the nose. Tart and slightly tannic with dark fruit on the palate. Drinkable now but I think it will improve in 2-3 years.
A little more integrated the second and third evenings. Good accompaniment to broiled ribeye steak and O'Brien hash browns. Quite a bit of sediment at the finish of the bottle.

This time I really will wait two more years before opening the third bottle.

I bought six bottles on futures so have four remaining.
