Not sure when, or where I got this wine. I have had the bottle long enought that it gravitated to the rear of my storage unit and I happened on it when I was looking for something else.

Some nasty residue on top of the cork concerned me initially. It did not appear to affect the juice within.

Color: Dark red with some yellowing at the rim.

Nose: A great, soothing, rich earth aroma permeated the nose. Cherries, smoke, some fresh flowers were also present.

Taste: Smooth mouth feel. A bit of harsh tart cherry at first, but that burned away after a few minutes in the glass. Then the dark cherry was at the forefront with a nice smokey cedar note in support.

A soothing, enjoyable wine. It looks like I only gave $19 for it and I would definitely buy at half again that price.
