1998 Paso Robles Cellars, Paso Robles, Cabernet Sauvignon. Alcohol level: 13.8%. It gave lots of mature red and black fruit on the nose and upfront. There was more of the same in the middle, with hints of violets, cassis, and plenty of Paso complexity and dirt in the middle. The tannin was still chewy and delightful. The finish went on and on.
Enjoyed it with an early Fathers's Day steak dinner last night!
