2005 Culley, Pinot Noir, Marlborough ($11.99 U.S.). Alcohol level: 13.5%. It is another great value in a Pinot. It gives you red cherries, other red fruit, and plums on the nose and upfront. In the middle you get nice mouth feel with more red fruit, some spiciness including cinnamon, and just the right amount of oak giving a toasty edge. The finish is persistent and very nice.
