St. Innocent: new 'estate' vineyard after the loss of Seven Springs

Many know that St. Innocent has lost the fruit that made it famous, the Seven Springs and Anden vineyards. For those that didn't, or didn't know why, or wondered how winemaker Mark Vlossak is going to recover from that loss, the story's on the winery website. Here's a link:

Lot's of backstabbing and dirty deals in wine country -- they need to make a movie, Seven Springs Sedition.

I am ITB here in Oregon and have known Mark since early on. I have always enjoyed his wines as they really do age well. That was certainly a well written and informative letter. I have no doubts that everything will work out for them.

I was disappointed when I learned that this fruit would no longer be available to Mark. The Seven Springs was my first experience with St Innocnet and remains one of my favorites. I plan to buy as much of the last 2 vintages as I can afford when they are released. I've not had any Pinot Noir from Anden, but can't imagine being disappointed in it.
