Sunday Chat Today!

by Cynthia Wenslow » Sun May 27, 2007 12:49 pm

Even though it's Memorial Day weekend here in the States, Sunday chat will take place as usual..... unlike the Post Office or the Banks, the WLDG Chat Room never closes for a holiday!

So please join in the frivolity today at 4 p.m. EDT, 2 p.m. Mountain, 1 p.m. Pacific, 2200 in Western Europe, and the ridiculously early hour of 6 a.m. Monday in Sydney!

Pull up a keyboard and share your weekend wine and dining experiences with people who "get it".... or will at least humo(u)r you.

I'll be eating hardshells and sucking on beer at that time with about 40 friends. Some wine may be involved later. Who knows. Friends of ours have an annual crabfeast. Have fun!
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.

Thanks for handling this, O Chat Princess. :) I apologize for being AWOL and without notice ... we've been having a nostalgic weekend here, with about 120 alumni of the old Louisville Times, which was shut down 20 years ago when they merged the afternoon paper into the morning Courier-Journal, and as one of the organizers, I've been pretty much involved 100 percent with that since Friday. A great time was had by all, but I feel bad about missing the TalkShoe and Chat.

Uh huh. Sure you do!

Chat was a blast as always with chatters checking in from France, Australia, the States, Sweden, Finland, and New Zealand. And.... we talked quite a lot about wine!

Boring! Wine? Crabs! Yum! Beer! Good! Champagne too.
