McLaren Vale.

Fairly deep red color in the glass.

Very minty nose, with chocolate.

The wine took quite a bit of time to come around, being fairly thin and somewhat tart and tangy at first.

Black cherry, rather weighty, peppery, tangy, chocolate, a drying finish with some alcohol heat as well.

An okay wine, but not as good as previous bottles. Perhaps this was a bit off.

Screwcap closure.
