2004 Eno Pinot Noir Fairview Road Ranch (SLH) “The Gifted One”
I believe these are young vines but this is a vineyard that is getting my interest. I think it is right between Garys’ and Rosellas. The syrah I tasted from Alesia was killer!...but I really like this pinot as well. I thought this was a step up from the 03. The nose is not explosive or overly interesting on this night but it is pleasant. The palate is full of juicy layers of fruit. And at 15.5% there is no heat. I love how there is balance. Nothing dominates. The finish is great as well. The blast of grapefruit holds it together rather than just dying like so many SLH pinots. If the aromatics develop more this wine will be a show stopper. 90 pts.

Cheers,
Jason

Sounds interesting. Do you know what it retails for in your area?

I don't often see Eno at retail but direct it was $35.
