WTN: 1996 Château Pichon-Longueville Baron

Hi

I have not written notes in a while. In cellartracker I have the pleasure of reading other peoples notes. In this case, the others words, give a similar feel to what I tasted with marinated leg of lamb.

"this bottle was singing. Beautiful and unique nose of dusty dark fruit, cedar, coffee, tobacco and smoke notes. Medium to full bodied with really ripe, rich fruit and a great texture. Showed a solid mid-palate and substantial, sweet tannins on the long finish"

Glad I have three more. I see no reason to hold for improvement.

Best wishes and Gum Bi

Sounds great! I have one bottle of 2000, and I can't wait!
