2005 Torremoron Tinto, Ribera Del Duero, Tempranillo ($9.99 Whole Foods). Alcohol level: 13%. It is an unoaked cuvee of 100% Tempranillo from old vines. It gives you raspberry, strawberry, and cherry on the nose and upfront. In the middle it is pleasantly raw, very concentrated and well structured. The finish is long and fruity.
Matched it with Cous Cous (lamb & chicken), and spinach. It was all very nice for a Tuesday night.
