I had a glass of this with my appetizer at an Italian restaurant this weekend. (The appetizer was zucchini fritti with ranch dressing for dipping.)
I know Dr. Buckner said he found the 2006 Kim Crawford S.B. to be mid-range for acidity, but I definitely thought this was less acidic than the Kim Crawford and still crisp and refreshing, nicely balanced. The restaurant lighting was too dim to draw any conclusions about color. I've had wine from this large producer before and judge it to be good QPR. The Sauvignon Blanc can often be found for less that $10 to $13 a bottle.
