Working the trucker's convention again?

I've been to three or four wine bars there, but it has been a while. Noble Rot is the only one that sticks in my mind -- pretty close to the I-5 & I-84 junction. If I remember correctly, they have 30 to 40 wines to taste, and some pretty tasty onion tarts.

That's how we met the first time, isn't it? I remember it well: you asked if I'd ever seen a Peterbilt.

Noble Rot? Thanks, noted. [scribble scribble] I've read good things about wine bars in Portland over the years, had the feeling there were a couple of very good ones.

One of my Portland friends hangs out at Oregon Wines on Broadway. I've never been.

Second On Noble Rot....

Went there a few yrs ago & was pretty impressed. Even found a botrytis/dessert WhiteBurg there I'd never heard about. They also serve light foods that are pretty good.

Wow, Noble Rot and Oregon Wines are actually fairly close to one another. Now all I need to do is find a hotel smack in the middle, and all my options are covered!
