Central Valley, Chile.
85 per cent Merlot and 15 per cent Carmenere.
Very dark in the glass.
Smoky, chocolate and some woodiness on the nose. With time, the nose became dominated with green leafiness and roasted bell pepper notes.
Very big and rich in the mouth, tangy, black cherry, black licorice, spicy, lots of chocolate and some green leafiness. After the first glass or so, the greeness took over, becoming quite woody, bitter and leafy.
Yuck.
