Pretty good Pulley-Foosey

France Burgundy Joseph Drouhin Pouilly-Fuisse 2004 17.99 at BevMo in 9/06.
A very enjoyable wine. Steely and lemony, excellent balance, smooth and medium finish. 13% alcohol. BevMo

Copied from my spreadsheet with minimal editing. Enjoyable with poached chicken breast last night, superb with a dish of calamari in white wine sauce, over linguini, a little while ago. Good enough that it's all gone. :-)

Never tasted this one, but once again I must ask: has anyone ever tasted an honestly bad Drouhin? I haven't. All have been varying degrees of "good": a favourite producer that never seems to let me down.

I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.

Honestly bad? No. Very ordinary, especially when considering QPR? I'm afraid so.

This one was as good a Drouhin as I remember, but my experience of French wines is rather slim.
