Springtime contained in glass. Beautiful milled rose petal and potpourri, herbes de Provence and lemon zest. The fruit is bone-dry grapefruit and orange peel with amazing freshness and spice. Alsatian in style, but feather-light and quite a bit cheaper. Very good. Pass the asparagus! 12% alc, $12

Bill, thanks as always for the great notes on wines of interest to me. Hungarians really do the Muscat table wines well. I mostly see Irsai Olivér here in Ontario, but Muscat Ottonel - when done right - makes for a great aromatic table wine just as well.

Paul, My goal this year is to enjoy more dry Muscat. it is, IMO, one of the worlds most undervalued wines. Bonus if it's from Hungary!

Bill, I think that dry aromatic wines period are an undervalued - and largely misunderstood - genre.

Keep the faith!

Paul,
The only downside I see is the lack of availability of these wines. But, if you look hard enough... Lack of demand + tenacity of the few =Amazing wine for a song.
