Middle Eastern and Indian food at last night's friend's birthday party, so time to break out the Musars:
Chateau Musar Blanc 1998: Light orange in color. Medium-bodied. Distinct sherry-ish (fino) flavor. Fully mature, but I think will stay at plateau for some time. Not a wine for everyone, but I quite liked it.
Chateau Musar 1999: Never disappoints. Brick color, lots of stinky brett. Sweet, starts out lightish in weight, but gains a bit of heft with air. Complex, meat, earth, stables, leather. Impressive length. Fully mature, but no hurry to drink this up. Magnificent.
