1. Matthiasson Ribolla Giallo MatthiassonVnyd/NapaVlly (12.0%) MatthiassonFamilyVnyds/Napa 2018: Deep golden bit browning color; some dusty/earthy rather honeyed/honey grahams/graham cracker some floral/white pepper/RG bit smokey resonous/phenolic rather complex perfumed nose; somewhat tart/tangy rather honeyed/honey grahams some floral/white pepper/RG bit smokey/earthy light pencilly/oak complex mature VineMacerati flavor w/ light tangy/bitey tannins; very long tart/tangy finish w/ light phenolic/tannic bite; a rather complex briney VM starting to approach full maturity; should be quite mature good in 5-8 yrs;

More mattgirkle from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Steve Matthiasson is a big fan of the wines of Friuli. This ViniMacerati RG is moving right along towards full maturity and should go out another 5-8 yrs.
