Yup: appellation Copenhagen. Specifically: a 2023 Njord Pinot Noir Précoce Issø that I read about on CT. Had no idea!
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I can’t recall who, but someone is messing around with a hobby vineyard in Norway.

I guess there's an upside to global warming after all.

Wine from the south of England was well regarded in ancient Roman times. Not surprising since that same chalky soil produces fine wine wherever it crops up in continental Europe (Champagne, Burgundy's Cote d'Or, Cognac, Jerez de la Frontera).

Mark Ellenbogen, late of Slanted Door, Aziza and a farm in North Carolina (among other things) now lives in Norway and has planted a vineyard of Solaris grapes. It's been a couple of years since I've seen an update from him, but things were coming along quite well last I heard.
