  • 2020 Château Thivin Côte de Brouilly Cuvée La Chapelle - France, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Côte de Brouilly (7/25/2026)
Three years since my prior bottle and it’s a completely different wine. Still rather sternly tannic on the finish, but other than that it has rounded into a muscular but also beautiful Beaujolais. The fruit is supple and it’s structural at the same time. Feels like I should let my last bottle age for another 10 years or more!
