WTN: Höhle Moly

2014 Dönnhoff Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Nahe (7/23/2026)
Ten years since I last had this wine, and I can confidently say Dönnhoff does age! Slimmed down in profile, but what it lost in sweetness and weight it gained in aromatic and palate complexity. White peach and jasmine on the nose, is echoed on the palate, and supplemented with a deeply stony base - and it finishes nearly dry! Doubt I will wait another ten years, but given the balance it wouldn’t be a problem.

thanks for notes. I found a tad heavy/sweet for my tastes young, but sounds like it's come into form. I should have a bottle , will try to find.
