Tercero 40% off everything sale: anyone loading up?

by Jenise » Fri Jul 17, 2026 12:39 pm

I'm so tempted. I love his mourvedres and he's offering back vintages.

I wasn't good. Bought a case. Cab franc pet nat? Picpoul? Counoise and Cinsault? Yeah I got some mourvedre too, but the variety and reasonable prices, $21-40ish, was irresistable.

Larry is a good guy who makes good wines. His Roussanne is very good if you haven’t had it.

I had his roussanne a few years back, it was ripe and heavy. Don't know if that was a vintage aberration or not. The only white I went with this time is the picpoul, a grape I love when done right. Had a WA Picpoul two weeks ago that was surprisingly stunning, same week I had a really great one from France to mentally compare it to. It more than held up.

I shouldn't be asking this, but is this a mailing list-only offer? Just looked on the Tercero site to see what the Mourvedre prices were, though didn't see any indications of a sale (and they're listed at 70 ea, which I'm guessing isn't a sale price).

Should definitely not be buying wine, but a friend from my local wine group gifted me a pair of bottles of Tercero Cab Franc and Mourvedre (the 15 Larner Vineyard) that I liked a great deal.

Of course he would. I've been a customer but only once and that was years ago--and I still got the offer. He needs to sell wine.
