REMINDER: Mid-week Chat Tonight

by Cynthia Wenslow » Wed Mar 21, 2007 1:20 pm

Though Robin is enjoying (we hope) the changing of the season in Italy, he's left us the keys to the Chat Room.

So join The Usual Suspects at the regular summer time tonight. Remember Chatters from Down Under and those in Europe, that the US and most of Canada is back on summer time, which may change the time at which Chat commences for you. (Unless you don't mind being fashionably late....)

The time... 9:30 p.m. US Eastern Daylight Time (7:30 Mountain, 6:30 Pacific) translates to 0130 GMT, four hours behind Greenwich and five hours behind Western Europe.

I must offer my regrets. I will be out celebrating Nowruz with my Persian friends at a potluck. I will be sure to have a bite of khoresht fesenjaan, zereshk polow, kookoo-ye sabzi, and more for all my chat friends. (That's a lot of bites, thank you.) I'm bringing chicken parmesan. That should throw them off a little. :)

I will definitely miss Paulo's webcam show however.
And now what?

I'll be thinking of you all every moment, but the belly dancing (sorta) I'll get tonight anyway. As to wine, Shiraz is indeed located in Iran, but it's an Islamic Republic so vino is a little hard to come by legally which is a shame since Persia has a long history of making wine.

Celebrating the New Year on the vernal equinox makes so much more sense to me than in the dead of winter!

Have a great time, Gary.

Any early birds out there? I have been checking in every so often.
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind.
