- 2010 François Raveneau Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot - France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis Grand Cru (6/6/2026)
Six years since I last tasted this, and I really cannot imagine how this particular bottle could be better. From what was a laser slicing my palate six years ago, to now an utterly complete, brisk yet full exemplar of Chablis that lifts the soul and elevates the mind. It’s still lemony and invigorating, but it now shows unfathomable depth that makes it the best bottle of Blanchot, and maybe Raveneau overall, that I have ever tasted.

Nice! It is good to see positive notes on an old Chablis without the dreaded oxidation word. Hope some of my older Chablis will last as well as this one!

Raveneau has been largely spared the POX.
Knock on wood.
