- 2016 Loimer Riesling 1ÖTW Seeberg - Austria, Niederösterreich, Kamptal (2026-05-31)
This bottle was leaking, so I opened it up. Light gold in colour, with a lovely, intense nose, with apples, lemon, honey and deep minerality. The medium to full bodied palate is also intense, with stonefruit notes but also powerful herbal and mineral (slate?) notes. Concentrated, very dry and still somewhat youthful. Very impressive!
