More erklesplat from the BloodyPulpit:
1. This is a new producer for me that popped up on the shelves of Kokoman last week. I generally like the wines from the Valle Isarco, so that these might have potential. They were not particularly intense/profound wines but very varietally-correct and quite precise wines....and very attractive prices. Fairly classic Valle Isarco alpine whites.
From here, things get a bit confusing. They are sometimes labeled Adler von Klausen. Their WebSite (adlerwine.com) cannot be found or is unreachable. The prices quoted for these wines out on the Web are often more than twice these prices. So it is all a bit of a puzzle to me. But I'm going back for more. They make a number of other varietals that I hope to track down.
