This showed up on the shelves at Kokomans this week so thought I'd give it a whirl:
1. Skaramuca Plavic Mali (12.0%; VinummUSA/Basking Ridge/NJ; http://www.Dignac-Skarmuca.hr) Dingac-Skarmuca/Pijavicino/Peljasac Peninsula/Croatia 2024: Fairly dark color; some raspberry/Zin-like slight herbal rather earthy/dusty/loamy rather rustic somewhat fragrant nose; fairly earthy/dusty/loamy/mushroomy light Zin-like/raspberry/blackberry light vanilla/oak somewhat coarse flavor w/ modest gritty tannins; med.long rather earthy/loamy/mushroomy fairly coarse finish that mimics flavor; lacks the high-toned aromatics of a good Calif Zin. $22.00 (KK)

More plavikish from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Plavic Mali is the most widely planted grape in Croatia/Dalmatia. It is a cross between Crljenak Kaštelanski/Tribidrag/Zinfandel and Dobričić, two grapes indigeneous to Croatia. It is widely planted along the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia/Dalmatia
You could definitely see the resemblance to Calif Zin in this wine but it lacked the high-toned aromatics you get in Zin. It was dominated by the dusty/earthy/loamy character that is often found in Croatian wines. Not a bad wine but pretty rustic in character.
