- 2018 Bedrock Wine Co. Zinfandel Carlisle Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (5/29/2026)
I am not generally a Russian River Valley Zinfandel fan, but this was way better than good. Still juicy, with citrus infused acidity to cut through the ripe cherry fruit, it was bright, fresh, and dangerously drinkable. Acid rather than tannin driven, so I would probably drink up in the near term, but that’s no loss as it’s very fun now!
