- 1995 Le Ragose Amarone della Valpolicella - Italy, Veneto, Valpolicella, Amarone della Valpolicella (4/22/2026)
From my late father’s cellar, this wine should have been required to report for parole violations. Smelled like rotting cabbage. Tasted (yeah, I tried it) like sweet cherry hard candy being handed out by a drifter in a white paneled van.

These crypt explorations are actually fun. Even better that this one was shared with several guys from my wine group. We all laughed at how bad the wine was.
Then we went back to drinking the ‘95 Monte Bello.
