2000 Penfolds Shiraz Bin 28 Kalimna - quite a pleasant wine, smooth and medium bodied with some anise and plummy dark fruit Smooth resolved finish. Wish it wasn't my last bottle.

And it probably only cost you about $18 back in the day.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

Alas for when those Penfolds wines were affordable.
There’s still a price sticker on a bottle of 1997 Bin 707 Cabernet from my dad’s cellar: $29.99.

I used to keep a cellar book with costs etc in it but when I moved I didn't transfer all the cost prices (it was already complicated enough - we had two people with computers entering stuff as we put it in the bins). I still have a four vintage vertical of early 90s 707 and looking at CT for values puts them at close to $400 a bottle (Can) today.
I also have some 1995 Henschke Shiraz Mount Edelstone I better get into soon.
