Tried this last night:
1. Josef Fischer GrunerVeltliner Federspeil Wachau (12.5%; RosenthalWineMerchant/NY) Rossatz/Wachau 2023: Light gold color w/ loads of tiny bubbles that persist frever; rather fragrant GV/floral/white pepper bit restrained/elegant rather complex beautiful nose; quite tart strong white pepper/GV/floral/pineapple quite rich/lush complex flavor; very long/lingering spicy/white pepper/GV finish that mocks flavor; a somewhat restrained/elegant expression of GV & not an in-your-face style of GV; quite a beautiful restrained expression of GV; should go out another 6-10 yrs; very reasonably priced at $28.00 (AV)

More federblatz from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Not very familiar w/ this producer. Have only had a few. He regards himself as a natural winemaker (he uses all the right words, but does not call himself as "natural") but the wine showed no funky/natty character. Quite a lovely GV at a very attractive price.
