- 2012 Eric Rodez Champagne Grand Cru Les Beurys Brut - France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru (3/13/2026)
Mic-drop moment with this wine. I am not even sure I ever focused on the aromas or flavors. What got me was the texture, and the bottomless depth of the wine. I felt like I was falling into the glass. On its own it was formidable. With the Gougeres it was majestic.

Sounds great. And his wines are not crazily priced. Pinot dominated?

This was 100% Pinot Noir. He also does 100% Chardonnay wines, as well as Pinot dominant blends.
Some of his wines are not crazily priced. The Empreinte de Terroir bottlings are quite pricey ($250+).
