WTN: Sont les mots qui vont tres bien ensemble

by David M. Bueker » Fri Mar 13, 2026 10:20 am

  • 2018 Domaine Louis Michel Chablis 1er Cru Butteaux Vieilles Vignes - France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru (3/12/2026)
A couple of extra years in the cellar has done good things for this wine. The fruit has slimmed down a bit, allowing the acidity to come forward. Still not the brightest vintage, but feels more Chablis and less Puligny than my prior bottles. Ample fruit is still there for further cellaring.

Great title!

Thanks.

Figured there’d be enough people here that might get the reference.
