  • NV Ployez-Jacquemart Champagne Extra Brut Rosé - France, Champagne (3/8/2026)
Hard to believe it has been three years+ since our last bottle, but there it is. Had some locally smoked ham steaks for dinner, and this was a spot on match. The extra brut dosage was completely sufficient, and the fruit was still fresh. Lovely wine.

I don't think I've ever had the NV Rose (vintage is good). I think Ployez-Jacquemart in general is one of the best value houses in Champagne. Was at Coqodaq last night (biggest Champagne list I ever encountered), was staying under $100, almost went for the PJ Extra Brut but decided to go BdB and got Vix-Bara.

Definitely excellent value. I would still pick Hebrart, at least for the NV stuff.
