- 2017 Henri Jouan Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Echezeaux Vieilles Vignes - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin (2/22/2026)
Popped and poured last night, and from the first sip it was full of fruit and earth, bringing exactly what I would hope for from a village level Burgundy getting towards ten years of age. What really struck me was the loamy, leafy elements, that were a fall walk in the woods vivid. Truly lovely.

Sounds great. I've liked the Jouan I've tasted, but never got around to following/drinking much.
