Sounds great. I still buy Trimbach, plus occasional Weinbach, Boxler, Barth, Mann. Don't know Bott-Geyl.
Agree that there is less Alsace on the shelves, and that it is a shame.
Think a few reasons:
1) glad this is reasonably dry, but there were a couple of decades where buying Alsace was a RS crapshoot.
2) the rise of trocken/GG/feinherb German wines , and increased availability of Austrian Riesling.
3) For that matter, there's a ton more pradikat German on shelves that there were for a long time.
Any experience with recent Bott-Geyl? Worth looking for?
