Welcome back, Yossi. It's good to see you on the forum! I hope some of our crew has Romania experience. I'm afraid I don't have much to offer on this.

This may be of use https://www.the-buyer.net/tasting/wine/ ... p-10-wines

and https://www.vivino.com/en/toplists/top- ... MpBdgYSk_1

We have only two Romanian wines in my market but I'd hope we'll see more as some look pretty interesting.

One has to watch out for the semi sweet reds.

I was in Bucharest as part of a Viking river cruise. The most interesting wine I had there was Feteasca Neagra a red variety. Domaine Muntean, Zana Zanelor, Feteasca Neagra was a particular favourite.

We were taken to Murfatlar winery near Constanta on the Black Sea coast. Murfatlar is perhaps the oldest and largest winery in Romania and there we tasted five wines:

- 'Zestrea’ Muscat Ottonel - sweet white wine
- '3 Hectare’ Chardonnay 2024 – very oaky white wine
- ‘Aerosoli’ 2024 – pink blend of Feteasca Neagra & Pinot Noir
- Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 – bland red wine
- ‘3 Hectare’ Feteasca Neagra 2023 – a Romanian speciality and the only interesting wine.

I was not impressed and I would suggest Murfatlar is not worth the journey from Bucharest
