Tried this new wine last night:
1. JakobSchneider GWT und Riesling Nahe (11%; A.P.Nr. 7 750 052 38 24; SkurnikWines/NY) Niederhausen 2023: Light gold/bit cloudy color w/ lots of tiny bubbles swirling in the wine; btl opens w/ a loud pop; some GWT/spicy/bit hair oil strong floral/R/mango slight mineral bit petrol/Mosel valve oil bit complex quite interesting/lovely nose; some frizzante bit petrol/mineral mostly R/floral/mango light GWT/spicy fairly rich slight earthy/mineral/flinty bit petrol fairly complex slight off-dry flavor; fairly long light GWT/spicy strongR/floral finish that mimics flavor; quite a pretty white that speaks more of Nahe R than anything. $23.00 (SFW&S)

More blunderbuss from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Since GWT is typically a fairly intense grape, I was expecting it to dominate this blend. Au contraire, it was the R that clearly dominated here. Quite a pretty white.
