Beef bulgogi, trumpet mushrooms, yaki-udon, Shanghai bok chop tips. Compared 2 Bourgognes
2023 Michel Noellat Bourgogne Rouge
Tangy, raspberry and black cherry, touches of fennel and subtle hint of oak, nice length, good. B/B+

2023 Gerard Sequin Cuvee Gerard Bourgogne Rouge
Red cherry, plum, a little smoked meat and soil tones. B

Roast John Dory, couscous, broccoli, salad
2020 Fichet "Tesson" Meursault
Lovely showing, lovely nose of apple blossoms and hazelnut. On the palate full snd bright, with apple, pear, snd citrus zest. Long chalky mineral finish. Lovely young wine. A-/B+

No wine tonight with lamb stew

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
