- 1999 Domaine Robert Groffier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru (10/19/2025)
Needed some air to cure a little bottle sickness, but then it showed still vibrant fruit, substantial spice, a deep bass meaty note, and classic forest floor aged Burgundy tones. Quite a beautiful wine, even if the wood influenced spice was a bit strong. Not much structure left, so probably best to drink up soon.
