Tried this wine last night w/ Susan & her son:
1. siflogo chlori lefkada island amber Greece (13.4%; www.siflogo-lefkada.Gr; 100% Chlori; 4 days on skins; eklektikon/Wilimngton/DE) M.Papanikolopiulou/Lefkado 2022: Fairly dark gold quite hazy color; rather resiny/ViniMacerati/phenolic slight floral/marigolds/zinnias/pungent dusty/hayloft rather strange/interesting nose; quite tart bit raspy/austere fairly resiny/VM some dusty hayloft little fruit rather stony/mineral lean/eviserated flavor; med.long raspy finish that follows flavor; a rather strange dusty/raspy white; interesting but not a lot of pleasure. $32.00 (AV)

1. chlori is a very rare grape that was rescued from extinction by M.Papanikolopiulou. Pretty much dominated by the VM character and not a whole lot of pleasure to drink. This is a natural wine but shows no signs of any natty character.
