WTN: Subaru

NV Sean Thackrey Pleiades XXVI Old Vines - USA, California (7/12/2025)
I have written a lot of words about the Thackrey Pleiades over the years. Last night, as I was taking my first sips from the glass it finally all came together - this is, in the best possible sense - American Côtes du Rhône. It’s not exclusively Rhône grapes, probably not even majority Rhône grapes, but it carries that dusty, brushy, windswept character, along with a complete crushability that is facilitated by the blissfully moderate (13.1%) alcohol.

I drive a Crosstrek and never knew that!
I am confused about the 6 star Pleiades, as it contains the 7 Sisters (and other visible stars).
