- 2019 Domaine Tempier Bandol Rosé - France, Provence, Bandol (7/8/2025)
When I first tried this on release it seemed wan compared to other vintages. Over the ensuing years it has fleshed out and deepened to the point where it’s among my favorites from the last many vintages. Odd how that happens, but the wine always has the last word. The palate richness and depth really grabbed me, and would not let go. Not a “pretty” rosé, but rather one that commands attention. Glad to have a couple of bottles left. I will drink them soon-ish, as I like where the wine is at right now.
