Pete Devison is one of Washington's best winemakers for European palates. He grew up in Vancouver and began his career in New Zealand before migrating to the U.S. Under his eponymous label, his portfolio (10 wines currently, five white and five red) leans Rhone, and I just love his rose. He says that his wife Kelsey informed him that he better make one that she'll like or she'll keep buying French wine. The result is exactly what I'd hope for:

2024 Devison East of the Sun Rosé
Not sure what the blend is here but past versions have been about 3:1 Mourvedre/Grenache blends and this vintage probably follows suit. Pale, taut and mineral-driven, it's rich on the palate with white currants, grapefruit and salted canteloupe. Outstanding, just wish it weren't $30/bottle.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

On the bright side it’s $20 less than Tempier!

Have you tried the Bedrock Rosé, Ode to Lulu? It’s also Mourvèdre heavy, and it’s under $25.

Seconded. And though not likely to be mistaken for a Bandol rosé, it's a very mannerly CA rosé.

Once, long long ago. Unsure of vintage, though '18 at the latest I'd say, and it was pinker and heavier than this.
