Wanted a fresh white for dinner last weekend, so cracked:
1. Massican Annia NapaVlly WW (12.4%; 48% TocaiFriuliano/41% RibollaGialla/11% Chard) Dan Petroski/MassicanWnry/Calistoga 2018: Med.gold color; rather earthy/stony/mineral light perfumed/floral/mariglds/carnations not very aromatic nose; fairly tart/tangy lightly floral/carnations/Friuliano/Ribolla fairly stony/earthy rather uninteresting flavor; med. tart/tangy/stony finish that follows flavor; more like a Friuli Tocai Friuliano that has not developed into anything interesting; some better at cool room temperature but still pretty uninteresting. $30.00

More frickleblic from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. TocaiFriuliano is also known Savignonasse. For many yrs in Calif, it was known as Sauvignon Vert, a rather dull & uninteresting wine. I liked this wine much better when it was young & fresh. Has not developed into anything particularly interesting. Rather disappointed.
