I wanted to like this a lot more than I actually did. It starts out with brisk acidity, and some interesting earthy and dried tobacco notes to accompany the ripe fruit. Unfortunately as it progresses through the mid-palate the wine gets sweeter and sweeter, with the final impression being candied and cloying. The acidity perks back up at the very end, but by then the teeth rotting damage is done. Too much ripeness in too little wine.
