Saturday was roast Lane snapper , spinach, leftover potatoes with ramp butter
2022 Yves Martin Sancerre
Apple, light gooseberry, fruit blossoms. Clean, correct, and easy. B

Sunday we had some oysters with leftover Sancerre, then cumin/coriander lamb burgers and a spicy slaw
1999 Felsina Fontalloro
Black cherry and raspberry, autumn leaves, saddle leather. Resolved tannins, good acids, long minerally finish. With air it gets a bit more herby/spicy, with mint and fennel seed notes. I like a lot. A-/B+

Monday steamed lobster, corn, potatoes, and broccoli
2016 Jadot (Gagey) Beaune Blanc
Ripe pear, touch of vanilla, soft. Some more acid would make this more my style. B-/C+

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice. Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
