Blanc de blanc sold out in 7 minutes here downtown. Think Dale is quite a fan looking at a few posts?

Small allocation?

Which specific wines? The Rosé is always in high demand.

I'd have to search my notes to see if I'm a fan of the BS BdB! My favorite bottling from them is the Elisabeth Salmon rose, but it has gotten pricey (I mean it was always pricey, but now more so)

I attended a wine dinner on Valentine's Day at which Billecart-Salmon Champagnes were served. I found the Brut Reserve to be a pleasant, but foursquare, BdB. The NV Rosé (not the Cuvée Elisabeth) was the standout of the evening and the "Sous Bois" Brut was the most interesting wine served, if not exactly the most appealing. Although information was a bit lacking, I presume that these were all the currently released versions.

Excellent, if expensive wine - the Rose is available here for $142 Can. Maybe it is time they marketed a less expensive second wine (Billecart - Truite?)

Surprised that I only have the Louis Salmon BdB in the cellar. I could swear I have some of the NV Rosé.

Oh, you happy, peppy people! I have never liked Billecart-Salmon and still don't. "Foursquare" is a good choice of word. There's just got to be better champagne out there.

Like, say, Comtes de Champagnes.

Pinch is Scotch.
And a good pilsner suits me just fine.
