WTN: Rostaing Cote-Rotie La Landonne 2018

Gorgeous Rostaing Cote-Rotie La Landonne 2018. Pop and pour but already drinking very nicely. Youthful, all fruit and berries on the nose. Ripe and sweet on the palate. Slightly firm tannins that work just fine with food. Voluptuous and easy. Long life ahead but no problem at all if you want to drink it already. Beautiful wine.
Three be the things I shall never attain:
Envy, content, and sufficient champagne.

Early days for that one, I think, but nice that it drinks well already. I have some 2015 Ampodium I was going to open at around age 15 or so.....

I have the 2011 Ampodium, Bill, and I'm going to wait for age 15 or so, too.

(After years of ignoring Cote-Rotie while others regions were more reasonably priced, I finally dipped my toes into the water and now have a sampling from Levet, Burgaud, Barge and a single from Faury -- now just have to have the patience to let them develop before opening)
