Tried this new wine from Kokomans last night:
1. Famille Mauro A l'abri du Monde AC: Cotes de Duras (12.5%; MeBaC; 70% SauvBlanc/30% SauvGris; RosenthalImprts) Mauro Guicheney/Villeneuve de Duras 2019: Med.gold color; very mineral/chalky/stony some herbal/SB/melony some complex quite interesting nose; lightly tart/tangy fairly rich some melony/herbal/ripe SB light stony/mineral slight metallic quite attractive flavor; med. lightly tart some herbal/melony/SB finish that tracks flavor; quite a pleasant expression of SB that resembles Sudsteiermark than Graves or Bdx; a bit on the light/elegant side but a quite pleasant SB at a great price. $18.50 (KK)

More dicklefrick from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Cotes de Duras??? Of course I know where that be!!....Not.
Saw this AC & wondered "where's that"?? It's an AC 40 mi to the East of the city of BDX. Located on the SE edge of the general Bdx AC. Some of this producer's vnyds lie in Bdx, but most in the Cotes de Duras.
